What it is

The ViaLink Supply Chain Platform is a working system we built before Manuel. It runs in production. We sell it with implementation, configuration and support.

Manuel receives the main product roadmap and engineering investment. The Supply Chain Platform is sold as an existing product, configured for each operation and supported by ViaLink.

The current product and support scope are confirmed during the first discussion.

The transport management system

The strongest part of the platform is the TMS.

Our team considers the TMS competitive with specialist products we have seen in this market. This is an internal assessment. We have not published an independent comparison.

Bring your own scenarios, lanes, and rate structures to a demonstration and test how the TMS handles them.

When this is the right answer

This platform fits when you need an operational system and the current product already covers the requirement. The work can then focus on configuration, implementation, and support.

In that case a project is the expensive way to arrive at something that already exists.

When Manuel is the right answer

Your operational systems exist and work. The gap is the control work between them: documents read and rekeyed by hand, job costs checked against the rate card after the invoice was already approved, disputes resolved in email, margin lost before anyone sees it.

That is a control problem. Manuel handles the checks across the systems you already run.

Some operations need both. The platform runs the operation. Manuel controls the document and money flow around it.

How it is bought

The platform is scoped from what exists, quoted as implementation and support, and delivered on a frozen scope with acceptance criteria and a named owner on each side. That part of how we work is the same for both offerings.

Commercial terms and deployment options are confirmed against the required scope. We will maintain, support, and configure the current platform. If a requirement needs major new product development, we will identify that during the first discussion.
